Europe to launch ‘hidden’ probe in 2029 to search for interstellar comet

The European Space Agency (ESA) plans to launch a unique comet-hunting mission in 2029.

The mission, called Comet Interceptor, was approved on Wednesday June 8 at the meeting of ESA’s Scientific Program Committee. It will be a collaboration between ESA and the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA).
